Its been a long journey fron India to Cusco where Francisco Carvalho and his wife,Denis Vargas de Carvalho have created a little bit of their own India.

Francisco studies in hotel management included courses in cooking and culinary skills. He then worked in five-star hotel before joiming a cruise ship company where Denis also worked. They married and sailed around the world sampling the food in each port of call.

After 10 years on the ships,they decided to open a small coffee shop here in denis hometown.The original cafe called "Cafe Carvalho"offer peruvian dishes with with an international touch.Friends and clients began to ask for Indian dishes.To meet the demand, they slowly added dishes that Francisco and Denis remembered from Franciscos Mothers 

home in Mumbai(Vasai). They still consult frequently with her,learning and cooking more and more Indian food.

The original idea has mow become "A TASTE OF INDIA"with a growing offering of dishes from the Subcontinent.
